Understanding Acts.
Here is a little bit of a dispensational significance outline of the book of Acts.
(Acts 1:26) Judas replaced by Matthias.
(Acts 2:4) Holy Ghost arrives.
(Acts 2:38 and 45, 3:19) The gospel message of the kingdom.
(Acts 5:1-10) Personal blaspheming of the Holy Ghost.
(Acts 7:51-60) Leaders of Jerusalem and Saul of Tarsus blaspheme the Holy Ghost.
(Acts 9:1-6) Paul saved by grace after blaspheming the Holy Ghost.
(Acts 10:1-48) God shows Peter that the dietary laws and water baptism are no longer required and that He is accepting Gentiles.
(Acts 11:26) The first time anyone was called a Christian and the Christianity started with Apostle Paul first and alone.
(Acts 12:1-2) James, one of the twelve, is killed and it is not recorded that he was replaced like Judas.
(Acts 13:13-52) "Paul and his company" preach the gospel of the grace of God for the first time (recorded). That is Christ died, was buried, and rose again the third day and that through that finished work we have forgiveness of sins, something the law could not do.
(Acts 13:46) Paul says to the Jews, "lo, we turn to the Gentiles." (1/3)
(Acts 15:1-2) Paul "had no small dissension and disputation" with those opposed to salvation by grace through faith.
(Acts 15:4-29) James and Peter accept Paul's ministry.
(Acts 19:1-7) Paul's water baptism and ministry proven to be different from that of John the Baptist.
(Acts 21:40-Acts 22:1-21) God inspires translations. Paul is speaking in Hebrew and Luke recorded him in Greek.
(Acts 18:6) Paul tells the Jews that he is going to the Gentiles. (2/3)
(Acts 28:28) Paul says, "salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles". (3/3)
Signs and wonders was for Israel and now that salvation have been sent to the Gentiles all signs, wonders, spiritual gifts and miracles have stopped.
These are the key passages to understanding the book of Acts dispensationally.
(Romans 1:16) Paul preaches the gospel to the "Jew first".
(Romans 11:1-7, 11-12, 25-31) Israel has not been set aside but is being "blinded", Israel has had a "fall" and is being "diminished". The Gentiles have salvation through Israel's fall and Paul is still trying to "provoke them to jealousy" and see some of Israel saved.
(1 Corinthians 13:8-10) The signs gifts will cease when "that which is perfect is come", referring to when the full revelation of the mystery program is fully revealed and the old program of Israel done away with.
(2 Corinthians 12:1 and 7) Paul says that he will come to "visions and revelations of the Lord" making it clear that not everything has been revealed to him yet.
Acts is a complex, fast moving book that must be studied carefully.
